Last week we attended the 24th edition of Milano Unica, an event that represents the best from the textile sector and showcases upcoming trends.
Not only does it stand for quality and respecting tradition, this year’s edition is much more special because it was characterised by a more techie and modern touch. As said by the event’s president Ercole Botto Poala,
it’s important to look to to the future and spot new talent.
The event is undoubtedly tied to new styles and ideas, a place where fashion is born and where you can get an idea about what you will see during seasons to come.
We were fortunate enough to meet Paul Smith after his “You can find inspiration in everything” workshop. It’s amazing to meet people who have gotten so far and who continue working as hard as they did on their first day.
We already know what trends we’ll see in 2018 but there’s an infallible combination that will never go out of style: creativity, respect and the willingness to achieve greatness.
